Information – key points

This is a device that we created to be inputted through the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) that will lower the temperature reading to the ECU.  The ECT controls the VCM on the vehicles, if we can lower the reading then the VCM will not activate.

Coolant Temperature - reaction

167 f - At temps below this, PCM does not invoke VCM.

159 f - At temps below this, PCM raises the idle RPM target value (invokes fast idle).

167 f - At temps below this, PCM increases ignition advance.

145 f - At temps below this, PCM increases throttle opening.

How do we get you there?

Simple we provide an electronic built-in device that is located on the plugs, (T-Shaped) one side connects to the sensor the other connects to the ECM connection which then both will turn into the middle part that has over 85 OHMS of resistance that will not enable VCM.
